Most of your shopping needs can be accommodated at home in Brighton, but for the serious shopper a trip to Trenton or the large Quinte Mall, 40 kilometres to the East in Belleville, will offer a full selection of goods and services.
A pleasant drive to the West along the Apple Route (Hwy. #2) will bring you to the historic towns of Colborne, Cobourg and Port Hope.
You can stop at the Big Apple in Colborne for lunch, dinner or just to pick up a delicious freshly baked apple pie.
In Cobourg there is shopping at the Northumberland Mall and in the many antique shops in Port Hope.
